Basic Needs Programs

The Basic Needs Program is a way for students, staff and faculty to support 91探花 students who are experiencing emergencies that may impact their overall well-being and ability to be successful in college. 


  •  

    Food Assistance


    There are various opportunities for food assistance available through both OHIO and the surrounding community, including SNAP benefits, food pantries, the Meal Bank and Cat's Cupboard.

    Housing Help


    Support and guidance for students experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness.

  •  

    Student Emergency Fund


    Small-scale funds for students facing financial difficulty due to emergency situations or one-time hardships.

  •  

    Bill Assistance


    The Salvation Army provides limited financial assistance to low-income households struggling to meet a basic need.

  •  

    Mental Health Care Grant


    The purpose of this fund is to make mental health care services more accessible to our students by alleviating or reducing financial barriers.

  •  

    Cap & Gown Loans


    A loaner program for students facing a financial barrier to purchasing a cap and gown for commencement.

  •  

    Regional Campus Resources


    We support students on the regional campuses who are experiencing emergencies that may impact their overall well-being and ability to be successful in college.
