Graduate Assistantships Overview

The Division of Student Affairs offers a wide array of graduate assistantships, which are designed to supplement classroom learning with practical work experience in a student affairs environment. If you are interested in working for the Division of Student Affairs as a graduate assistant, please take time to review the “How to Apply”, “Position Descriptions” and “Frequently Asked Questions” pages listed on the left side bar of this site. Though we do prioritize graduate assistantships for the College Student Personnel program, we are open to candidates from an array of other graduate programs at 91̽.

College Student Personnel Program Applicants

One of the many academic partnerships that exists in the Division of Student Affairs (DOSA) is with the Patton College of Education. If you are applying to the Master’s in College Student Personnel Program (CSP) in the Patton College of Education, you may receive priority eligibility as a graduate assistant in DOSA.  However, please know that the graduate assistantship application process is separate from the academic program application for CSP. Please follow the instructions on the College Student Personnel Program site for more information, as well as the link on the left side bar of this site. Please note that the College Student Personnel program and graduate assistant positions have two separate application processes.
