The Bobcat Battalion

The Bobcat Battalion won the 2017 McArthur Award for being one of the top eight ROTC programs out of 275 programs in the United States.

Army ROTC at 91̽»¨ has enjoyed a history of excellence since the program began in 1936. Our Cadets are consistently ranked in the top percentiles among their peers nationwide for summer training and overall campus performance. A large percentage of every Senior Commissioning Class is designated as Distinguished Military Graduates, every year, for graduating in the top 20 percent of all Cadets in the Nation.

Although nationally, roughly 40 percent of Army ROTC Cadets go on to earn an Active Duty commission after graduation from college, it is not uncommon for 60-70 percent of Bobcat Battalion graduates to go on to become Active Duty Officers when they graduate from OHIO.
