Copeland Scholars Honors Program (CSHP)
Copeland Scholars Honors Program (CSHP) is an OHP-Designated Program and is built on the college鈥檚 foundation of excellence. Our mission is to provide high-achieving students a unique, personalized learning experience.
Copeland Scholars students complete program with a cohort of peers and develop their potential in a team environment. By working in teams, you鈥檒l emulate an industry approach to solving real business problems, anticipating trends, and devising best practices.

Program Features
Traditional academic programs tend to focus on theory. We鈥檙e different. We provide a unique, hands-on approach that models what you鈥檒l find in the real world. Our curriculum combines advanced technical knowledge and analytical skills, and applying them to current industry trends.
The Copeland Scholars Honors Program is structured upon five key pillars (E.L.I.T.E.) that define and support all activity:

- E : Excellent Communication
Requirements
Academic Requirements
- 14 Honors experiences by graduation
- Business honors learning community
- Internship and mentoring program
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and minimum of 15 hours per semester
- Two Monday night meetings per month
Extracurricular Activities
- Community service activities through your four years
- Major-based committees
- Mentoring program
- Personal development workshops
- Social events
Eligibility
In order to be qualified for the Copeland Scholars Honors Program, students must meet the following criteria:
- Academic excellence in your high school performance
- Minimum high school GPA of 3.5
- Well-rounded academic and extracurricular activities
Application Process
To be considered for Copeland Scholars, students must opt in to consideration for honors and scholars opportunities when they submit the Common Application. Eligible selected students will be asked to complete a separate supplemental application after they have applied to the University. If you've already submitted your application for admission but did not opt in for honors and scholars consideration, email admissions@ohio.edu to request consideration for honors and scholars opportunities.
