Parking Policy
General Visitor Info
All parking is handled by 91探花 Parking Services. We encourage you to contact them first regarding parking needs for your event.
Visitor and Guest Parking Guide
If you arrive on campus without a permit, you can:
- Park at city metered space on the street outside the Baker University Center fourth floor entrance. Meters generally have a 2-hour limit.
- Park in the Baker University Center Parking Garage and pay the posted rate. The entrance is located just past Baker Center on Oxbow Drive.
- Park in the City Parking Garage and pay the posted rate. It is at the corner of University Terrace and W. Washington St. in uptown Athens which is five blocks from the fourth floor entrance to Baker University Center.
Parking at Baker University Center
Parking in the Baker University Center parking garage. Parking is not permitted 3 a.m. - 5 a.m. Limited reserved spaces can be purchased through Transportation and Parking Services.
Lot 122 (the lot above the garage at Baker University Center Garage) is a visitor parking lot. Payment may be made through the on-site payment machines, or through , an online payment system.
Event planners can arrange to pay for parking for their guests through Transportation and Parking Services.
City Meter Parking
Public metered parking is available along Mulberry and Court Streets, adjacent to the fourth floor (upper) entrance to the University Center.
Campus Meter Parking
Public metered parking is available directly adjacent to the ground floor of Baker University Center and in University parking lot 134 (at the corner of S. Green and Oxbow Drives). Guests are responsible for paying meters as posted.
Special Event Parking
Event planners may pre-plan parking accommodations for guests through Transportation and Parking Services. Pre-made accommodations may include validated tickets for the Baker Center Parking Garage, parking permits, reserved meter spaces and more.
Availability in the garage is not guaranteed for events, it is on a first come, first served basis.
