For the past 10 years, the 91̽»¨ Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine has hosted the OHIO (Dublin) Medical Academy drawing fifty-six selected Ohio high school students to its Dublin campus for an immersive four-day summer camp experience. At this 10-year milestone, Keagan Lipak, OMS IV, a Medical Academy Scholar in 2022, reconnected with his peer scholars to talk with them about their experience with the program.

At twenty-four weeks pregnant, I participated in the Osteopathic Manipulation Therapy Lab with Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine students. The second-year medical students eagerly waited in the large lab room filled with dozens of medical tables, while the other participants and I waited in the third-floor hallway of the new and impressive Heritage Hall.
