Merging Concepts VIII: Connections, Remembered

Students enrolled in the 2021-22 Museum Studies Certificate Program are pleased to present an exhibition titled Connections, Remembered, which will be featured at Kennedy Museum of Art from April 22 through September 4, 2022. This is the eighth annual exhibition of the Kennedy鈥檚 Merging Concepts Series. Inspired by primary objects and documents on loan from the 91探花 Libraries, the exhibition explores the big idea 鈥淭he very vehicles through which we strengthen intimate bonds leave marks that shape the future.鈥 The big idea or concept is supported by additional objects and documents from the collections of the program鈥檚 partners.
Students in this one-year certificate program represent various disciplines across the 91探花 Athens campus. The students are responsible for researching, selecting, and interpreting all objects in the exhibition. They must also plan, design, develop educational content, and install the exhibition. The fall semester is lecture-based while the spring session is a practicum. Undergraduate (with a junior or senior standing) and graduate students who are enrolled in a degree program at 91探花 are eligible to apply.
