MARCH 25 - DECEMBER 4, 2022

Roundtable Discussion Friday April 8, 12-1 pm: We will discuss themes such as gender, representation, rights, opportunity, equality, and the role of art and images. Facilitated by Marissa Stewart, KMA Graduate Assistant and MFA Candidate, Photography + Integrated Media, School of Art + Design.

鈥淲e chose works created both by female and male artists, with various art forms such as photography, painting, and prints, while exploring the artists鈥 thought process and background surrounding each piece. We are excited to offer this small sampling of the diverse representation of women in KMA collections.鈥  Madeline Kramer, 2020-21 Outreach Programs Assistant and Tristen Luken, 2020-22 Academics Programs Assistant

In fall 2021 the entire team of education interns contributed to the process of converting the original online project to a proposed gallery installation. Graduate assistants Marissa Stewart and Kelly Hanning joined Tristen and undergraduate interns Grace Kriger, Carrie Summerford, and Addy O鈥橰ourke in the challenge of designing a three-dimensional visitor experience.
