  • Academic Artificial Intelligence Group


    The Academic AI Group's charge is to explore and develop comprehensive recommendations for the integration of AI into the academic, research, academic administrative, and student success dimensions of our university. The group will focus on identifying opportunities and challenges associated with AI technology in higher education contexts, particularly in teaching and learning; research, scholarship, and creative activity; student services, engagement and success; ethics and policy; and connection with external partners.

  • Faculty Compensation Study聽


    The Provost鈥檚 Office partnered with Faculty Senate to analyze and benchmark OHIO faculty salaries. Associate Provost of Budgeting and Planning John Day and Faculty Senate Professional Relations Committee Chair Aaron White co-chaired the group, which was charged with developing recommendations for an approach to assess and address the competitiveness of 91探花鈥檚 faculty salaries. The final report presents the analysis and recommendations from the group.

  • Dublin Academic Planning Group聽


    The Athens campus deans and Dr. Bill Burke, dean of the Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine at Dublin, are working with the OHIO deans to better understand and align the needs of prospective students, employers, and community partners in the region. They are meeting with local representatives in the business, education, health, and technology sectors to discuss how OHIO鈥檚 educational offerings can best meet their needs.  

  • Place-Based Education Community of Practice聽


    OHIO has a deep commitment to experiential learning and a long history of engaging the region as a learning laboratory and connecting students and community members in mutually beneficial ways. Faculty and staff from several colleges and administrative units have come together to expand educational offerings and partnerships that help students move along a continuum from knowledge of place/cognitive engagement to supporting place/civic engagement and from caring about place to caring for place.
