International Opportunities Think Tank
Original charge from Provost Sayrs:
The challenges faced by our incoming and continuing international students continue to weigh heavily on our minds, even as we recognize why now, more than ever, the need for learning, research, and dialogue across borders is of critical value in every area of the world. In recognition of the changing and growing need for educational collaboration, I am charging the International Opportunities Think Tank to explore, project, and make recommendations for the future of international teaching, learning, research, recruitment, and student support services.
The goals of this group were to bring together all units that serve international students and to make recommendations about to how to globalize our curriculum and research/creativity, and to determine better structures, processes, and practices to build on our considerable strengths and avoid duplication. Recommendations were provided in March 2021.
