Leading turnaround for Piketon site
The former Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Ohio, known as PORTS, is being redeveloped through the PORTSfuture initiative led by OHIO's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Service. The goal is to transform the site into a clean energy production and sustainable manufacturing complex, starting with a $1.5 billion-plus project by Newpoint Gas focused on clean hydrogen production and electricity generation. This redevelopment effort has the potential to create enduring jobs and positively impact the surrounding region.
